Open Captioned Jewish Theatre in Boston: “We Had a World”

ticket prices vary
OPEN CAPTIONED PERFORMANCE: March 10th, 2026. ASL INTERPRETED PERFORMANCE March 13th, 2026.

Calling our Boston and East Coast Deaf Jewish community, a powerful, Jewish-themed theatrical performance is coming to Boston this March, and it will be fully ASL-interpreted.

We Had a World, presented by Huntington Theatre Company, explores Jewish identity, memory, family, and legacy through a deeply moving story. The performance will feature three ASL interpreters and a Director of ASL — all Jewish, bringing both linguistic access and cultural understanding to the stage.

This production represents a meaningful step toward Jewish-accessible, Deaf-inclusive theatre, and we are excited to help spread the word so our community can show up, be seen, and be part of the experience.
