Open Captioned Jewish Theatre in Boston: “We Had a World”

| OPEN CAPTIONED PERFORMANCE: March 10th, 2026. ASL INTERPRETED PERFORMANCE March 13th, 2026.
Calling our Boston and East Coast Deaf Jewish community, a powerful, Jewish-themed theatrical performance is coming to Boston this March, and it will be fully ASL-interpreted. We Had a World, presented by Huntington Theatre Company, explores Jewish identity, memory, family, and legacy through a deeply moving story. The performance will feature three ASL interpreters and a Director of ASL — all Jewish, bringing both linguistic access and cultural understanding to the stage. This production represents a meaningful step toward Jewish-accessible, Deaf-inclusive theatre, and we are excited to help spread the word so our community can show up, be seen, and be part of the experience. We hope to see our community represented in the audience |
