NYC/Hybrid: ASL Interpreted Purim Night Experience

SAVE THE DATE!! — ASL-interpreted Purim Night Experience (Mar2)
For many years, it’s been a Town & Village (T&V) Synagogue (www.tandv.org)
tradition to offer an ASL-interpreted Purim Night experience with a
Deaf-hearing team, and we’re doing it again in 2026 so we hope that YOU’ll be
joining us then, too!
WHAT: A “hybrid” Service (interpreters will be in person AND visible on Zoom
to those who can’t join us in the Sanctuary) with a full reading from Megillat
Esther (Yes, it’s the whole Megillah! <groan>), and a Shpiel (skit), too!
WHEN: Services start at 6:00 PM EST (GMT-5) on Purim Night, Monday, March 2nd
WHERE: Town & Village (T&V) Synagogue (www.tandv.org), 334 East 14th Street,
between 1st and 2nd Avenues in Manhattan…or on your nearest Zoom-capable
device (For security reasons, meeting information will be sent out a few days
beforehand to those who’ve responded in advance as shown below)
WHO: Jon Lamberton and Bram Weiser, with Shelly Guy, whose work will be
underwritten thanks to UJA-Federation of New York’s Jewish Community Deaf
Interpreter Fund
TO ATTEND IN PERSON: T&V highly encourages and strongly recommends that
everyone stay up to date with their COVID vaccinations and wear masks in the
building. (Please also RSVP via email to Bram at [email protected] to let us
know you’re coming.)
TO ATTEND VIA ZOOM: Please RSVP via email to Bram at [email protected] with
the names and email addresses of those who’d like to attend. We’ll take care
of the rest!
For those so inclined, costumes are heartily encouraged, too!
