ASL Shabbat
Join the ASL Shabbat Coalition for a meaningful and inspiring service, as our lay leaders share teachings about the little known holiday of Tu BiShevat.
This special service will be led by Deaf and hard of hearing participants currently enrolled in the “Between the Lines: From Text to Life” course, offered by Melton School for Adult Jewish Learning in partnership with the Jewish Deaf Resource Center.
Bring your family and friends, and register today! This event will be captioned and will include voice interpreters for those who are not fluent in ASL.
The ASL Shabbat Coalition is the result of a collaboration of three Jewish Deaf organizations, including Hillel at Gallaudet, Jewish Deaf Congress, and Jewish Deaf Resource Center. The Jewish Deaf Resource Center thanks UJA Federation of New York for partnering with JDRC through their operating grant.
