Making Jewish Life Accessible: A Virtual Convening

February 27, 2025 @ 2:00 pm - 9:30 pm EST

In commemoration of Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance & Inclusion Month, we are hosting a free, accessible, and virtual gathering of professionals to explore how we can collaborate, support, and inspire each other as we advance our goal of making Jewish life accessible to individuals with disabilities. The event will include a panel of experts and Jewish professionals, in addition to open mingle to network with attendees from other organizations that are working in this space. Our featured panelists are accessibility advocate and leader Rabbi Lauren Tuchman, Congregation Kerem Shalom’s Rabbi Darby Leigh, Matan’s Senior Director of Programs and Partnerships Meredith Polsky, and congregant Jessi Elana Aaron. The panel will be facilitated by Debbie Joseph. This event, which will be captioned, will have ASL interpretation.
